Anish Phansalkar is a 22 -year-old cinematographer from Pune, India, with a passion for visual storytelling rooted in his early years of creating YouTube videos. What began as a childhood curiosity has matured into a focused and evolving craft. Anish has already lensed two feature-length documentary films and continues to expand his repertoire across short films, music videos, and nonfiction projects. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from MIT - Art, Design and Technology University, where he developed a strong foundation in media and storytelling. Currently, Anish is pursuing his Master’s degree in Cinematography at Whistling Woods International, one of India’s premier film schools.
