Sujata Deshpande is a seasoned theatre and screen artist with over three decades of experience in the performing arts. She has acted in a wide range of acclaimed plays, including Yete Aai, Pahil Paan, Badakanch Gupit, Aawadichi Gosht, Sarnar Kadhi Tama, N Sampanari Gosht, Vedya Kavita, Kanupriya, Family Business, and Milun Sarya Jani. Her performances have earned her numerous accolades. Expanding beyond theatre, Sujata has performed in feature films (Rajkaran and Taxi Driver), Doordarshan serial (Ganga), short films (Shambharav Sthal, Gunakar, Sonyacha Amba, Safar, Waqt) Her work has been shaped under the direction of eminent figures like the late Shri Vasudev Palande, Deepa Shreeram, Sandesh Kulkarni, Umesh Kulkarni, Girish Joshi, Subodh Pande, Pramod Kale and others.
